As my son’s 3rd Birthday arrives I’m in just in complete awe that I’ve been a mom for almost 3 years! Wow, the time flies by so quickly and I remember when he was just a newborn and people telling me how the time passes. I just laughed at it all and went about my business. Well, those people were right! It does go by so fast and it makes me cherish every moment of every day.
The love of a mother is unlike anything I’ve ever known. The minute I laid eyes on my son it was heaven on earth. A miracle all in itself, creating life what a wonderful experience. Glad I was able to do it and with the love of my life. As my son’s 3rd Birthday arrives I’m happy, I’m proud and I’m just very thankful. For his life, for his health and for his amazing journey ahead. I love you my son.
So, I’m proud to announce I got a positive quote published on my favorite Kombucha GTS! I have always enjoyed drinking probiotics and when I discovered this brand I was sold, like done deal sold. I seen there was a way to submit quotes for potential publishing and said why the hell not? So I did and a few months later I was published on The Cherry Chia Synergy Kombucha. Too cool!
Above you will see the quote! Yay! Super excited to share my words with the world. This very quote sits at the bottom of every E-mail I send out. It’s truly how I feel about this life and everyone in it. I’m glad GTS liked it enough to publish it, and on that note I just had to share it all with you.
See above for the benefits of drinking Kombucha. With so many benefits why wouldn’t one want to drink this amazing stuff? Go to: GTS Again, Thank you #gtswordsofenlightenment for getting my message out there. You are a wonderful brand and I’m happy to be a part of your family of amazingness.
Really enjoying being a part of the Influenster community. I give reviews on products I use everyday. Everything form home, beauty, baby and beyond. It’s really fun and easy to do. I received the #momlifevoxboxexperience in the mail and it was wonderful. These boxes are sent complimentary and feature different items to try and review on Influenster.
I received a Motts sensible fruit juice that was low in sugar and my son just drank that up pretty quickly. I also received a Vera Wang fragrance called Embrace that was just pretty and summery. The next item was from Pantene, it’s their conditioning foam. It’s so safe and gentle I used it on my sons hair. It’s a light conditioning foam, smells amazing. Then there was Bark Box, a dog company that sends treats and toys every month via box subscription. I got a squeaky toy for my Cane Corso. So cute and well made.
This is a must check out as far as I’m concerned. Easy to use and fun!
MY GOD! Having a 2 year old is some work. I’m constantly walking on egg shells, holding my breath, and Oohing and ahhhhing at all too many things. My 2 year old thinks he’s a flying gymnast who just made the Olympics 2020 in Tokyo. It’s truly a difficult task to watch nor less try and restrain.
With that said, I signed him up for Gymnastics! The slot he’s in is called Diaper Daredevils, how appropriate is that? LOL! They learn to tumble, roll, pull-up, walk the beam, plank, pike, and how to fall. Perfect! Well, not really…He’s now practicing like it’s the gym and the couches are the trampolines. Wonderful! Splendid! Amazing!
They say Boys will be Boys, and I believe that. It’s just tough as a mom to watch this all go down. In any second things can go completely awry. Lord help me, it’s going to be a wild ride.
Wanted to share this with all the moms out there. This was truly a great discovery. I found a social networking site that just rocks! It’s a site where you can create a profile and review products you use. Your reviews can be as short or long as you want them to be. You can provide pictures or videos of what you are reviewing. As moms, we test and try a lot of things for our homes and our families. Why not review these items?
Just by signing up, logging in often, and completing your profiles/tasks you can get free boxes of products to review. It’s easy and tailored to your likings. A great concept that has been around since 2010. Not sure why I’m just discovering it but it’s great. If you review home goods of baby goods the odds of you getting those items are great. Fairly easy to use and earn free stuff.
So go to: Influenster and check it out. Really cool networking site to earn free products. Hope you all enjoy and let me know what you think.
HOUZZ is an amazing online platform for everything home. A great resource for photos, ideas, concepts and shopping. You can find anything there for indoor or outdoor. Happy International Women’s Day everyone! This day commemerates the movement of Women’s rights. Let us celebrate that major accomplishment today. Every year on March 8 we acknowledge the power of women. We also remember their struggles to get us where we are today.
This post is dedicated to all my ladies out there. Give yourself a pat on the back today. You are beautiful, you are strong, and you have equal rights. This is something to be celebrated. Pass the positive message along to all the females out there. It shouldn’t take a holiday to do and say these things, however it’s nice to be reminded of it.
Whatever you do today enjoy it, and remember to hug those women in your life. There is nothing like love and acknowledgement. And for my ladies reading this right now, this post is for you! Happy International Women’s Day!
We bought our first home together exactly a year ago, and since we moved in it’s been a nonstop production of home improvement. It’s funny really cause when we first bought the home we were quite satisfied with everything. Enough to buy it, move in and start our home-ownership life together. Who knew that owning your own home becomes a daily obsession of what can be fixed or made better. It’s totally insane. LOL!
Besides replacing all the carpet in the house with wood flooring we started painting once we moved in. Most places are sold with this sand colored wall that I just despise. So, off to Lowe’s we went and a painting we will go…Then we decided that all the trees in the backyard needed to be knocked down. Added Shrubbery around the entire backyard perimeter, been getting estimates on an in-ground pool and entire exterior paint job. It’s more than I ever imagined or seen coming.
I can say however that since we arrived here a year ago a lot has changed. We have been taking before/after photos to show the progress and to document it all for our future buyer. We think we may outgrow the home in 5 or so years. We shall see what happens but until then we will continue making our first home buy the best it can be. Who knew that buying a home wasn’t just a turn-key event? It’s more like buy it and fix it forever.
Ever since my son can walk and we converted his crib to a day bed he’s been walking into my bed in the middle of the night, every night. It was so endearing at first…it truly was. I was like “look honey he wants to be close to us. How cute!” It was bunch of ooooh’s and ahhhhhhh’s. Now that he’s two and 3 feet tall??? Not so much!
So, we sleep in a California King…which is a pretty large bed. It’s starting to feel a lot smaller now that there’s 3 of us. So, my son will walk in and come to my side of the bed to pick him up and place him in between us. Not only are the middle of the night or morning sex out the window, but my two year old likes to fight in his sleep. So, no sex opportunities plus throughout the night we both get kicked and punched. It’s really not as cute and endearing as I once thought it was.
And then the next question arises from the fiancé….How much sleep do you need? LOL! I love that question, I truly do! The answer??? A-FRIGGIN-LOT! OK? LOL. I have always liked my sleep and guess what? I still do! Especially when I’m spending my days chasing around an emotionally unstable yet super happy two year old. Then top it off with him jumping in the bed not only to sleep but to beat the both of us up every night. So much fun! It really is! Wanna trade sleep situations?
Good morning friends! So, I woke up today to a rather unpleasant annoying yell-singing situation. My 2 year old son decided to wake me up by yell-singing in my ear. Needless to say I was up but very fatigued and unhappy. I jump up out of bed with a fierceness and determination to get the son out of my bed and out of my room. Ready for the best part? He doesn’t want to get out of the bed! He starts crying uncontrollably…Man oh man was I about to lose it!
So I’m not sure of his goal this am…was it to wake me up so I would be up early like him? Or was it to just to bug me since I was cozy and warm still dreaming of Peppermint fairies? Well, whatever the case was I was up and on a desperate search for coffee, black please. I open my bedroom door and try to get him to come with me downstairs…well, that didn’t exactly happen either. He was up, I was up but he didn’t want to go anywhere. Grrrrrrrr, so I picked his little butt up grabbed his blankie and on the coffee mission we went.
So, now we are both downstairs and I’m hunching over the Keurig placing an espresso K-cup in that sucker. My son woke up on the crankier side of the bed today and started yell-singing once again. I swear my head was just pounding and maybe he thought he sounded good but LORD JESUS it was hell on earth. Anyhow, he finally calmed down and I was able to have a good long conversation with my friend black coffee and the world is at peace once again. Hope your mornings have been less yell-singing than mine.
